Lead by industry experts with many years of professional experience. /p p As a Stage and Technical Management student you will support every show that we produce here at Chichester College and build a portfolio of work that is akin to professional standards. p You will need 5 GCSEs at a grade 4 or above including English Language and maths and a keen interest in backstage work. /p p It is important that you have a genuine interest in this subject and are able to demonstrate a passion for the subject at interview. However no previous experience necessary. /p

p All course work for your qualification is digital. There are no exams and every assessment on the course is based on coursework. You will run a live and active website blog which will detail and document your learning throughout the year. You will be assessed on your practical work in the theatre and on events as well as your presentation of show based paperwork. You will also be assessed on the manner in which you carry out your duties i.e. your attitude organisation and commitment. br / b

p Studying Technical Theatre and Production Arts means you can have a career as a technician or Stage Manager for theatre live events festivals music venues or sometimes film and television. Its also possible for you to move into more specialist areas like producing and management. /p p Most of our students move on to study Technical Theatre and Stage Management at drama school or university. /p p You could also advance to the Creative Venue Technician Apprenticeship or potentially secure
