"If you are interested in enrolling on this course, please contact 0161 253 5772. This is a new course developed with the Catering team at Bury Council. If you successfully complete the course, you will gain two Level 2 qualifications. In the first 7 weeks, you will study a Level 2 qualification in Catering and Hospitality. In week 8, you will work towards a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, which includes a short multiple-choice exam. If you achieve both qualifications, you will be guaranteed a job interview with Bury Council's catering team. By the end of the course, I will: Know about the skills and attributes needed to work in the catering and hospitality sector. Explore different types of jobs in the sector. Gain insight into essential food safety principles, including hygiene. Learn essential cleaning skills, ensuring safe practices and legal compliance. Develop interview skills through a real interview with the Council Catering team and receive feedback. "
