Students who are studying the Access to HE Medicine Diploma at Richmond upon Thames College study: * 21 credits of Chemistry * 15 credits of Biology * 3 credits of Mathematics * 6 credits of Physics * 15 credits of Study Skills. The Study Skills units are not graded but the other 45 credits can be gained at Pass, Merit or Distinction. These have been specifically chosen by Medical Schools. This is a rigorous course which demands 100% commitment.
You will be taught through a variety of study methods which may include the following: classroom teaching, home learning, practical activities, presentations, group work, remote learning and research.
This is a coursework-based course in which the forms of assessment may include: written reports, presentations, tests, examinations and practical experiments.
Learners often but not exclusively progress to Higher Education study to medical related careers.
