You will need at least four GCSEs at grade 3 and above (D and above) including maths and English. You will have studied GCSE Science and/or have successfully completed Introduction to Careers in the Environment (Level 1) or equivalent. We will also consider your prior learning and any experience gained in an appropriate professional environment. Before you start your course, if you are aged between 16 and 18 years, you will be invited to attend a fun and practical one-day preparation workshop

You will need to bring a notepad and pen, once you have enrolled onto your chosen course, your course tutor will be in touch to inform you of what PPE you will need to bring.
Successful completion of this course with suitable grades will enable you to progress to a Level 3 arboriculture and forestry course, or employment in the arboriculture or forestry industries.
