Are you interested in a career in construction, specifically in civil engineering? This course starts by helping you get to grips with core knowledge of how the construction industry works, the principles of design and the role of technology and sustainability. T Levels are the new technical study courses that are designed with employers, to enable you to gain the necessary skills required for the industry needs. This T Level will give you the opportunity to significantly increase the knowledge and skills required to work within the construction sector, with a focus on civil engineering. During this course, you’ll learn Site investigation requirements of a project Planning of civil engineering projects Analysing the client brief and its requirements to develop civil engineering solutions Using calculation techniques to support analysis of civil engineering projects Site survey requirements of a project Selection of techniques and materials for a civil engineering project Development of final design solutions for civil engineering projects Application of professional techniques in the production of technical reports Typically your week would include attending college for 4 days and a work placement for 1 day.
