The Corndel Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management is aligned to the Operations / Departmental Manager apprenticeship standard and accredited by the Chartered Management Institute. It is a highly developmental programme for high-potential mid-to-senior managers, rooted in management coaching and workshop-based learning. Over 15-18 months, managers are paired with management coaches bringing a wealth of leadership experience, and supported to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours that underpin high-performing leaders. The programme includes discrete modules covering Finance for Non-Financial Managers, Project Management, and HR practice as well as a broader focus on personal development, team management, and information-based decision making. The Diploma curriculum is stretching and requires both critical thinking and self-reflection and is equivalent to a Foundation Degree in management. Topics are introduced in tailored (closed) workshops tailored to each business, and through Corndel’s library of e-textbooks and online videos. Coaches support managers to apply management tools and frameworks to their day-to-day responsibilities and to work on their own personal development goals, identified through 360° feedback. Corndel delivers this programme to closed cohorts of 12+ managers within organisations, creating a bespoke intervention to support the personal and professional development of key managers. We are currently supporting mid-to-senior managers at major businesses operating in financial services, the food and drink industry, technology, healthcare, retail, logistics and manufacturing.
