Unit 2 - Creating Systems to Manage Information Unit Size - 90 credits Assessment period = 10 hours (sessions over one week). Task set and marked by the exam board and completed under supervised conditions. You will: Examine a given scenario Develop an effective design solution to produce a database system. Test your solution to ensure it works correctly Evaluate each stage of development. Unit 3 - Using Social Media in Business Unit Size - 90 credits Assessment: Written report internally assessed. You will explore how businesses use social media to promote their products and services. You will implement social media activities in business to meet the requirements. You will: explore the impact of social media on the ways in which businesses promote their products and services. Develop a plan to use social media in business to meet requirements Implement the use of social media in a business Unit 6 - Website Development Unit Size - 60 credits Assessment: Written report + fully working website internally assessed. You will investigate website development principles and then design and develop a website using scripting languages.
