This evening based course will provide you with a City and Guilds 3268 Level 2 VRQ in a number of welding processes, each process to be chosen by you, at the outset of the course. It should be noted that the course fee, registration and certification fee covers only one welding process. Arrangements can be made for those who successfully complete their first process within the fifteen weeks and wish to pay the fee to enrol for an additional process. Candidates must be able to show a Level 1 pass certificate at enrolment for Level 2. All students will be required to be interviewed prior to enrolling onto the course and during your discussion you will agree the best process choice for you with your tutor.
Although all PPE, general materials and consumables are provided, candidates may wish to provide their own PPE in the form of Flame retartdent overalls, safety boots, CE Welding helmet, gloves and goggles.
Completion of a number of weld specimens that satisfy the Awarding Body criteria plus written/verbal assessment.
