Age: Applicants must be aged 19 or over at the start of the course. Residency: To apply for an Advanced Learner Loan, applicants must meet the required UK residency criteria. English Language: Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English. Educational Background: GCSEs at grades A*–C / 9–4 in English and Maths are preferred. Equivalent qualifications such as Functional Skills Level 2 or recognised non-UK GCSEs will also be accepted.
