Currently employment within the sector is necessary as the role involves work related projects and assignments linked to in-company production techniques. As long as candidates are working in a textile production setting, no other entry criteria necessary. Candidates with existing skills in Maths and English would be preferable, but not essential.

The programme is established around 14 taught classroom theory sessions with hands-on, practical work in the employer's manufacturing centre. It requires a period of time and dedication over 12/14 months with assignment work for each module.
