The Protective Services course aims to provide you with the skills, experience and knowledge that will enable you to develop a career in a uniformed service such as the fire service, police, prison service or armed forces. The Level 3 Protective Service Study Programme allows you study and apply for the public service of your choice or relevant university course, with a good grounding in the theory and practical skills that you need to know and the fitness and discipline that you are required to have. You can take part in interactive uniformed protective service activities and meet members from a range of services and take part in relevant workshops. The Programme also helps you develop relevant employability skills. This course leads directly onto a Foundation Degree or university course in protective services. You could also study other relevant subjects including psychology or sociology, or apply for a role in the uniformed protective services - paramedic, prison service, police, armed forces and fire service.
