All resources will be provided for learners however. Laptops are very useful for certain units. Adobe creative cloud is provided to all pupils with a full education license. Please consult the course leader if you are thinking of purchasing a laptop as certain laptops are not compatible with Adobe (Chromebook Laptops etc).

The styles of external assessment used for qualifications in the creative digital media production suite are: • examinations – all learners take the same assessment at the same time, normally with a written outcome • set tasks – learners take the assessment during a defined window and demonstrate understanding through completion of a vocational task • performance – learners prepare for assessment over an extended period
This qualification provides preparation for entry level roles in the digital film and video production industry, such as:
• production runner/assistant
• post-production runner
• broadcast assistant
• animation assistant
· Games Designer, Programmer or Tester
• assistant to the camera crew.
There are many roles in this sector where recruitment is at graduate level.
