60% Personal Investigation and related study • Practical coursework project responding to a theme by candidate/centre • A related written study of continuous prose with minimum 1,000 words • Internally assessed and externally moderated 40% Externally Set Task • Question paper released in February (available from February of Year 13) • One question selected from a range of starting points & stimuli • Research & developmental studies leading to a 15 hour practical response in May of Year 13 • Internally assessed and externally moderated.
