Although there is a range of practical skills involved in veterinary nursing, the course has a strong academic focus which requires dedication and hard work throughout the two year programme. It is expected that students will have secured a placement position with a registered training practice. However, in exceptional circumstances, the College might be able to assist in finding placements.

Applicants must be over 16 years of age and possess a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A* to C, including Maths, English and Science or alternatively a Level 2 Diploma for Veterinary Care Assistants achieved at an overall distinction grade, plus Level 2 functional skills in Maths and English
