This course is perfect if you are aged 19+ and would like a good grounding in studying aspects of business to prepare you for university-level study.

You'll need 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4 (A*- C) including maths and English (equivalents may be considered).

During the course you'll learn about the various functions and systems of a successful business, including: Human resources; Marketing; Leadership; Finance; Law. You'll plan events and study units in communication, numeracy and statistics, which will support you in your understanding of the topics you will explore within our research and assignments.

You can expect to complete a unit of study skills designed to support your skills in research techniques, report writing, presentation skills and academic English. This will help you develop the skills needed to approach and complete the range of assessments on the course. A personal tutor will guide you through your studies and support you in your university application.
