There are no formal requirements other than a desire to learn Beauty Therapy and to work in the hair and beauty industry
This course covers a wide range of skills, from nail technology, make-up, facials, waxing and lash and brow treatments through to body massage and spray tanning. This level is ideal for students commencing in hair and beauty or have some knowledge and basic skills in the industry, probably from a role where students work under supervision. This level is suitable if you want to increase your skills, maybe to start a first job in the area or take on more responsibility.
Classroom
The course is made up of assignments to show underpinning knowledge has been understood and practical assessments for all treatments.
This qualification can help students build a range of different careers in the beauty industry including Salon Assistant, Nail Technician, Beauty Therapist, Make-up Artist, Spa Therapist. Following completion of this qualification you can progress on to Level 3.
