There are 5 units that will be covered in lessons: Unit 01 Planning an Event Unit 02 Event Review and Evaluation Unit 03 Market Research and Marketing Methods in Event Planning Unit 04 Human Resource Planning at Events Unit 05 Communication and Customer Service at Events Learners will work on different tasks and variety of assessment methods will be used to assess learners' achievements such as worksheets, case studies, assignments, reports, peers assessments, witness testimony etc.

Learners should be 16 or over to undertake this qualification 4 subjects at GCSE ' Grade D'- where Maths and English must be two out of those 4 subjects New Maths & English GCSE's grading criteria equivalent of 3.

Every student is responsible to purchase their own uniform and comply with a dress code as per event management industry. (Uniform consist of black business trousers/skirt, Black shirt/ blouse, black blazer/ jacket, black business shoes, black flat ballerina shoes.) Students will be required actively participate in variety of local events, fairs, exhibitions where they will gain the invaluable work experience during their study programme. The attendance in events organised by a tutor is essential in order to gain invaluable work experience in event industry. In order to attend the leisure, corporate and sport events, the compulsory payment of £100.00 per student is required at the start of the course in September.

Each learner is required to create a portfolio of evidence which demonstrates achievement of all learning outcomes. Learner must complete the portfolio (NCFE Log) with various assessments (e.g. Presentation, case studies, reports, role plays, posters etc)
