The role of the community interpreter is becoming increasingly important. The interpreter acts as a bridge between communities and enables people to access services and situations which otherwise would not be possible.The Level 1 Award in Understanding Community Interpreting offers the opportunity for learners who are speakers of other languages to learn about the area of community interpreting.
