This T Level is suitable for post-16 learners (school leavers) wanting a career in construction, specifically in surveying and design, civil engineering, building services design, or hazardous materials surveying. The T Level is a 2 year programme and will include a 9 week (minimum) industry placement and a Technical Qualification, where you will also choose your specialist occupation.

Five GCSEs at grade 9-5 including English and Maths, or a full Level 2 qualification with a Merit profile and grades 9-5 in GCSE English and Maths.

The purpose of the two year T Level course is to prepare you for employment in the construction industry by developing skills and knowledge within the construction industry and how it works. You’ll study computer aided design (CAD), report writing, and surveying techniques for the planning, design and management of construction projects. The Design, Surveying and Planning T Level is recognised by many professional organisations as an entry qualification for student membership.
