Ideally learners will hold a NVQ Level 2 in Formwork or Wood Trade related qualifications Learners will need to be employed and aged 24 plus
The learner will learn key practical skills and knowledge in these mandatory units: -Erecting and Striking Timber and Proprietary Formwork in the Workplace -Constructing, Maintaining and Repairing Complex Timber and Proprietary Formwork in the Workplace -Erecting and Striking Timber and Proprietary Formwork for Complex Structures in the Workplace -Conforming to General Health, Safety and Welfare in the Workplace -Confirming Work Activities and Resources for an Occupational Work Area in the Workplace -Moving, Handling and Storing Resources in the Workplace -Developing and Maintaining Good Occupational Working Relationships in the Workplace -Confirming the Occupational Method of Work in the Workplace
You will be assessed against a set of performance and knowledge statements which have been derived from National Occupational Standards for your occupational area. Delivery will be undertaken at the learners work location
Learners will be expected to fully comply with construction site and be expected to wear PPE

This qualification supports the learner to attain enabling, fundamental and transferable practical skills with associated underpinning knowledge. Upon successful completion of the course learners will be able to apply for the CSCS Supervisory Card (subject to passing the CSCS Health and Safety test or holding a valid CSCS Health and Safety Test)
