The course will cover:Identifying any hazard specific to the site, task and machineIdentifying and explaining functions of all instruments and controls on the machineCarrying out daily pre-use checks on the tractorDemonstrating knowledge of precautions to be observed when driving with heavily loaded trailers and implementsMounting vehicle, carrying out safety checks and starting engine

There is a formal NPTC assessment which can be taken at the College using our tractors or your own site using your own tractor and this will take approximately two to three hours.
