This course provides students with an in-depth knowledge of working within the care sector. Shaped by employers, it supports students to progress into either university or the world of work.The course is made up 23 internally assessed units, such as Working in Social Care, Person Centred Approaches, Mental Health & Wellbeing, Dementia Awareness and Understanding Autism. Students will complete work experience alongside their qualification, which will enable them to apply knowledge and skills learned.
