This course will enable you to use English in an everyday situation. Courses are friendly and practical and each learner will have programme based on their needs they will include: • Carrying out everyday conversations and developing your social skills • Taking part in topical discussions and presentations • Use your functional language skills to make appointments, ask for directions and give instructions to local places. • Develop the necessary communication skills to move into employment.

If English is not your first language and you would like to develop your English skills for further learning, employment or wish to develop your confidence using English in everyday situations. There are no entry requirements but we ask all learners to complete a short initial assessment before the course starts so we can enrol you on the right level.

Group activities, one to one tuition, practical exercises, e-learning, role plays and other various teaching resources will be available throughout the course. You will sit a formal exam for each component which may be paper based or online. You will be required to complete some work at home this will either be provided through worksheets, handouts. research tasks or projects.

You will have three examinations throughout the duration of your course. One will be a discussion and/or presentation and two will be a paper based or online exam. Exams must be booked two weeks in advance therefore you must be available at the time and date of your exam

You can progress to a higher-level ESOL qualification in Reading, Writing and Speaking and Listening.
