ESOL Intermediate

This course is for those who want to learn and improve their English as a second language at Intermediate Level. It is a non-qualification course and it is equivalent to B1and B2 level (or Entry Level 3).

What will I learn? This course will help you to improve your communication skills such as: speaking, listening with comprehension, reading and writing. It will improve your fluency and confidence for using English in everyday life. Personal targets may include an assessment and certification. • Develop your vocabulary, • Improve your writing to a personal target level • Improve your reading to a personal target level • Improve your pronunciation and speaking and listening skills to a personal target level • Explore some elements of British culture, history, and geography • Be more confident using English • Build confidence to socialise with others • Meet people from other countries and make new friends

The tutor will assess your progress but there is no formal assessment

This is a non-qualification course. If you are interested in obtaining qualifications, you could join ESOL courses in other places, such as Melton Mowbray, Leicester or Peterborough, or do an online self-study course with Tutor Support.
The current course is delivered by a TEFL teacher.
