Multiply is a government programme to support adults to increase their confidence and levels of understanding of numeracy. The programme aims to help more adults to achieve maths qualifications and improve chances of employment and staying in sustained roles. This course is designed for customers in work who are looking to improve their Math's to apply for a better paid role, Promotion or a career change to a Sector where they will be better paid.

• Understand the fundamentals of number - understanding numbers in written and number form • Understand different methods of mental and written addition, subtractions, division and multiplication of whole numbers moving onto decimals • Understand the concept of place value in whole and decimal numbers • Calculating using decimals in everyday contexts including rounding and estimating • Calculating using percentages • Developing understanding of fractions and mixed numbers • Understanding the equivalence between fractions, decimals and percentages • Volume, area and perimeter

To provide a blended learning programme over a 2 week time frame comprising of a mix of face to face and practical learning. The aim is that they will complete the programme by completing in house training and e learning. Every learner will have a mentor, to offer extra ongoing support to find learners next steps. This is face to face course
