The Level 3 TAQA qualifications provide people who carry out assessment roles in their organisation with the opportunity to develop and improve their practice as well as achieving a professional qualification for their roles. They have been developed for those working in either accredited learning or non-accredited learning and will equip a wide range of assessors, trainers, facilitators and teachers to support learners and the Level 3 TAQA replaces the A1/A2 Assessor Award. The qualifications consist a mixture of competence and knowledge based units. Successful achievers will understand the principles of assessment and have the knowledge to develop and improve systems at their centre.
