In-class activities involve lectures, group work, peer learning and research-based tasks, and you'll also have access to online materials via Google Classroom on your laptop, tablet or mobile phone.

GCSEs in English and Maths and English at Grade 4 or above. Equivalent qualifications may be considered. Additional requirements include a successful interview and demonstration of appropriate sector care values.
To prepare you for university, we?ll develop your academic skills such as academic writing, researching, critical thinking, presenting and information literacy skills. Even better, you'll gain skills particularly valued by employers such as teamwork, data analysis, time management and problem-solving. By the end of the course you'll also be proficient with a range of word processing and spreadsheet software including Microsoft Office and G Suite.
Students can progress on to university courses such as social work, youth work, working with families and young people and childhood studies. Post-University, students can move into specific careers including social work, youth work, adult guidance worker, family support worker, Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and volunteer coordinator.
