The NCFE CACHE Technical Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education ( Early Years Educator) qualification prepares learners to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to five years and gain knowledge of children aged five to seven. The course combines classroom based learning and workplace assessments. There are 14 units which are achieved through written assignment work, academic posters, observations in the workplace and professional discussions. There is also two external assessments which need to be achieved. Work placement is 750 hours which can be completed in a Day Nursery, Reception Class or a Pre School. Upon achievement of this qualification learners will be able to enter the workforce as Early Years Educators or access Higher Education. This qualification is for learners who want to work with children as Early Years Educators. Also, learners that would like to take a vocational route to University. Entry requirements: Good GCSE grades including maths and English. However, there is an opportunity to retake maths and English if a level 4 grade has not been achieved in Year 11

The course combines classroom based learning and workplace assessments. There are 14 units which are achieved through written assignment work, academic posters, observations in the workplace and professional discussions. There is also two external assessments which need to be achieved. Work placement is 750 hours which can be completed in a Day Nursery, Reception Class or a Pre School.

Past students have progressed in many ways, including attending Winchester University to study Events Management and Primary Education. But very importantly working as Early Years Educators in settings such as Day Nurseries, schools and Pre Schools.
