Students are required to have GCSE English Language at least Grade C/4 to enrol on this course and GCSE Maths at Grade C/4. In addition, a GCSE Science qualification at Grade C/4 or a Level 2 equivalent qualification in a related subject is required for this course. Access to HE Science is designed to provide an equal balance across all the core science subject areas. For example, there are 4 biology units that equate to 15 credits and 2 physics units that equate to 6 credits. Furthermore, there are 3 chemistry units that equate to 15 credits and 3 environmental science units that equate to 9 credits. This equal balance across all the core science subject areas is meeting the requirements of those universities who ask for a balanced science based
