A combination of theory classes based in the classroom and practical sessions in our industry-standard beauty salons. Group work, individual work, assignments, assessments and home study.
Students will be required to purchase uniform, text books and a hair and make up kit. Uniform - Approx £40.00 Test book - Approx £30.00 Kit - Approx £650.00
Practical work will be assessed by some formative assessments and then a final end of course synoptic exam covering a range of treatments which will be graded. Theory work is assessed using written and online external tests and some assignment work. You will also be required to prepare a portfolio of evidence.
You could enter employment or you could choose to continue to enhance your skills and education by taking additional part-time courses or by applying to university.
