You must be over 18 years of age & be able to communicate clearly. You must also have obtained a minimum Level 1 Functional Skill or GCSE level 3 in English Language.
This qualification is aimed at individuals wishing to apply for a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA) to work as a door supervisor. It is based on the relevant SIA specification for learning & qualifications & is supported by Skills for Security, the standards setting body for the security industry & the SIA, which regulates the private security industry.
This course will develop your knowledge & understanding of what skills a person in the security industry will require & will start with the Level 1 Extended Certificate in Employability Skills. You will progress to the second part of the course that looks specifically explores the roles of the door supervisor that work within the private sector.
