2. Who this course is for

You will learn about the properties of six essential oils, how to blend them and how to use them safely. After blending your own massage oil, you will learn how to give a relaxing back, neck and shoulder massage to friends and family, to relieve muscular tension and stress. This is a practical course and you will give and receive massage. Please bring a cushion and a large towel and wear comfortable clothing.

The course will include a mixture of demonstration, discussion, pair work, group work and practical activities. Handouts will be provided. Informal assessment techniques will be used including self-assessment, discussion with your tutor and observation.
