Painting and Decorating Diploma

If you�re a practical, hands-on person, but you also have a bit of a creative side, then a career in painting and decorating could be perfect for you. The facilities here at South Devon College at both our Paignton and Newton Abbot Campus are fully equipped to introduce you to the world of Painting and Decorating and enable you to achieve your goals. This course is your first introduction to the world of painting and decorating, setting you up with all of the skills that you�ll need in your future career. Practical experience is such an essential part of your training at college � instead of sitting in a classroom all day, you�ll be learning in our fully equipped workshops, built to replicate what life is like on site. The Painting and Decorating Level 1 Diploma at South Devon College will develop your skills and gain an understanding of the materials and techniques used within the industry. You will also gain valuable work experience within the industry through community projects and offsite activities. These may include visits to trade shows and other events.
