2. Who this course is for

On this course you will design and make pieces of jewellery combining beadwork and traditional jewellery-making techniques such as: soldering; attaching of findings/ beads and polishing items to create unique and wearable pieces of jewellery. Returning learners are welcome as each term offers a new theme and the opportunity to learn new techniques and improve previously learned skills.

The tutor will use a range of teaching methods during the course which will include the following: demonstration- both group and individual, one to one tuition, group work, assessment of progress, observation, discussion and question and answer sessions. People learn in different ways and have different needs which will all be taken into account. For example visual and written handouts will be used, or handouts with extra large print when required.
