3. Entry requirements
You will need 4 GCSEs at grade 9-3 including English Language or maths or relevant level 1 vocational qualification plus English Language OR maths at grade 9-3.
4. What you'll learn
During your course you will study a variety of theoretical modules that prepare you for working in the construction industry as a trainee site carpenter. You will be continually assessed throughout your course, completing both practical and theoretical assignments. This course will will enable you to progress to a higher level of study or onto an apprenticeship as a site carpenter.

Modules include: - Health and safety welfare within construction - Principles of building construction, information and communication - Carry out first fixing and roofing - Carry out first fixing partitions and stairs - Carry out second fixing operations - Carry out carpentry maintenance - Set up and operate a circular saw
