All units in these qualifications are assessed by assignments set by City & Guilds, internally marked and externally verified. These assignments are graded Pass, Merit and Distinction. Each assignment consists of practical tasks and short-answer questions.

Successfully completing the Level 2 Computer Aided Design Award can lead into any of the full-time courses offered at the college up to Level 5. Alternatively, a range of other short courses are also available.
