2. Course description

TheVTCTLevel 3 Diploma in Advanced Professional Cookery is ideal if you aspire to a career as a chef in a professional kitchen. The qualification is based on the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for professional cookery and includes all the elements required for you to work effectively as a professional chef.

3. Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements but ideally you should have successfully completed a Level 2 qualification in Professional Cookery.

4. Equipment required

You will be required to purchase and wear a uniform and buy some equipment such as knives. All the necessary uniform can be purchased from the Department throughout July, August and September.
