2. Who this course is for

The agriculture course on offer is a Subsidiary Diploma in Agriculture offered by City and Guilds. The course aims to equip students with a broad knowledge of modern livestock based agriculture, environment and issues in farming. The course builds on the fantastic options offered at GCSE level and the resources that the farm has to offer including its own herds and flocks of rare breed livestock and excellent local links.

3. Entry requirements

Students must achieve a minimum total of 7 A* to C grades and/or grades 9 to 4 at GCSE level or equivalents to begin an A level programme. Where vocational equivalents (eg ICT or music technology) are counted into the total to meet the minimum criteria, they should be at 'merit' level or higher. In addition, Grade 5-5 in science and/or merit in level 2 agriculture.
