In Film Studies the focus is on learning new practical skills and practising analysing texts. This course explores the origins of cinema, film theory and technology as well as allowing you to study modern films. If the practical side of Film Studies appeals to you, there is the option of producing a short film for your coursework. If you would prefer to focus on writing then you also have the option of developing a screenplay and producing a digital storyboard.
