This is a progression route from the level 2 in Lift Truck Maintenance and Repair. This qualification is aimed towards learners that have the level 2 knowledge, and the learner is now looking to expand on this knowledge to gain advanced knowledge which will include advanced electrics, this course will help enable a learner to diagnose and rectify faults, rather than replace and refit which is covered at level 2.

Ideally the person that completes this course will have the level 2 in Lift Truck Maintenance and Repair. Applicants without this will be considered and this depend on their experience and qualifications, if they are accepted onto the programme
Access to a computer when in the workplace or at home that has internet access, to enable the apprentice to use their e-portfolio and other online training resources
The learner will have e-portfolio access whereby they will need to complete assignments and evidence of skills assessments will be uploaded to this system. The learner will also be assessed through online exams conducted at our training centre, these are multiple choice exams.
