|Cost description||Students will need to purchase a practical kit which they will be expected to wear to all lessons. They will also need to purchase insurance, towels and equipment (foldaway table and lotions/oils for their own practice).|
At least 4-5 GCSEs graded 9-4, including English or Maths. It is advisable to have a strong scientific interest and an interest in a variety of sports.
You will cover five mandatory units: Anatomy and physiology for Sports Massage Principles of health and fitness Understand the principles of soft tissue dysfunction Professional practice in Sports Massage Sports Massage treatments Students will also have the opportunity to gain knowledge of taping and strapping, as well as First Aid training.
