You will learn how the language of art and design, with a particular focus on how the graphic and commercial arts can be used to communicate message and meaning within a range of vocational contexts. You will look at professional practice in graphic design, illustration and the wider graphic arts and use research to influence your own work. The skills you develop will enable you to build and create a portfolio of visual evidence which can be used to support applications to Higher Education across a range of Arts Courses at University and Art Colleges.
