On this 2-week leather course you will be learning how to make 4 simple handles for handbags and small luggage. Learning how to master these different styles of handles will help take a simple bag to the next level. When it comes to making bag, you need to learn a lot of bag vocabulary. There are numerous types of bags including clutch, frame, hobo and messenger. Each bag has a few types of handles that could be attached to it. A poorly placed handle can disturb the aesthetic of the bag and can make it more difficult to use. In this course we will learn how to make a Top Handle (used for briefcases), Long Shoulder Strap and x 2 Parallel Handles. You will be making samples that you can take away to use from reference for other courses in bag making.
