If you're passionate about the film industry, have a genuine interest in film and appreciate a wide range of cinema from different periods, you could be looking at the right course for you. In this academic study, you'll explore and discuss your responses to film, both through class discussion and written assignment, and examine a broad range of topics such as British and American cinema, form, research and creative projects, and varieties of film experience, issues and debates. You'll consider how key concepts inform film production and consumption, covering a wide range of films from all around the world.
