2. Who this course is for

Government and Politics is an ever changing subject and is ideal if you have an interest in the world around you. You will examine the 2016 presidential election and what the implications of Brexit will be on the UK government. The course is challenging but also interesting and you will develop useful transferable skills. At Turton, you will be working with specialist teachers who encourage you to have independent thoughts and who stimulate interest and debate. You will learn through presentations, debates, news reviews, essays and appropriate trips such as to London, Washington and Manchester. Results are excellent and students are taught be knowledgeable staff who love the subject.
