You must have a genuine interest in working with people and have a caring personality. You must have achieved 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above including English Language and Mathematics. Students progressing from an academic Level 1 course may also be considered for this programme. You must have Enhanced DBS clearance as you will be working with vulnerable adults and children during your placements.
The work is internally assessed which is carried out via assignment-based units, which will be marked online by individual unit lecturers. All units are graded to A* to D depending on the quality of work produced and the criteria achieved.
