The NCFE Uniformed Services diploma will suit anyone of a practical nature who wants a vocational course and is interested in gaining the entry standards for the armed forces or public services.

Three GCSEs including English Language or Mathematics at grade 3 or above or successful completion of a Level 1 Diploma course with Functional Skills. Those with GCSE grade 2 profile are recommended to pursue the Level 1 Diploma in Uniformed Services course or an alternative Level 1 course.
All work will be continuously assessed using video and photographic evidence to support effective feedback. Google classroom provides easy access to resources and relevant course or tutor-related information. Practical and peer observations in conjunction with mock professional and peer interviews allow your progress to be monitored throughout the whole year. A portfolio is produced to achieve a final grade.
Successful completion of the course will offer progression to the NCFE Level 3 Uniformed Services or another suitable Level 3 course. You may wish to apply for entry to the armed forces or public services. You may also want an alternative career or Apprenticeship, in another field, which can be supported by the HSDC Careers & Employability Team.
