2. Who this course is for
This course is for those working within marketing and sales departments and/or those who have responsibility in their job role to support and promote marketing and sales for their company, products and services. Trainees will develop knowledge and understanding of the importance of marketing, alongside both the benefits and consequences of it. Trainees will develop skills and techniques to market effectively using the marketing mix with a view to increase sales, market share and profits. This course will allow the learner to identify the relationship between the customer and consumer, marketing and sales, marketing and brand image, the product life cycle and the relevant marketing strategies. This course includes current and relevant models of analysis and information from various theorists e.g. Kotler. To differentiate between the customer and consumer and marketing and sales, the relationship between them. he benefits of effective marketing, alongside the consequences of ineffective marketing, and the areas of the company effected by this. To understand and use the marketing mix effectively to market products and services within their organisation (7 P’s). To use models of analysis effectively to understand and analyse the organisation they work within such as SWOT and PESTLE to identify internal and external factors effecting/influencing the business. To share/present their final project and marketing strategies with the group.
