The course consists of six modules, as follows: Ground preparation and soil testing Pruning and plant maintenance Plant propagation from seed Vegetative plant propagation Planting techniques Identification of garden plants, weeds, pests and diseases
The course includes lectures and classroom-based work mixed with practical sessions, giving students' relevant practical experience and industry skills. Students' work is assessed and observed throughout with some paperwork completion required as submission of proof of learning.
