If you definitely want to be an engineer, and have the ability, the imagination and the interest to think about ?how things work?, then this course is for you. This is engineering and technology with a big emphasis on mechanical manufacturing. You will make components by different processes such as welding, drilling, milling and turning, in addition to working with electrical circuits and will be given opportunities such as building a heat-treated multi-tool to manufacture. Using CAD packages, you will design the concept, creating a CAD drawing on an industry standard package in order to translate that information into a design to be manufactured.
